Diablo 4: Best Zir Slaughterhouse Magic Build
Abattoir of Zir is here to challenge the most powerful players in the game. And that’s not a made-up phrase, it’s only appropriate for the best players who pretty much beat everyone else in the game. It’s the endgame of the endgame, and things should get even more complicated as Diablo 4 drops more content. Of all the best builds and classes in the game, there is one Sorcerer build that stands above the rest and is able to shine and sustain the amount of pressure that Abattoir of Zir puts on players: The Ball Lightning Sorcerer build.
The Ball Lightning Sorcerer build for Abattoir of Zir, like many other builds, is a combination of heavy damage with a mix of skills, passives, and armor to help reduce and diffuse incoming damage. As the name suggests, this build will rely on you becoming a Lightning Ball, using – you guessed it – Ball Lightning, as well as using skills like Flame Shield and Ice Armor to protect yourself. Since you are required to be a level 100 character, Uber Uniques, while not required, will help your cause. Crest of Harlequin, Thibault’s Will, and Tal Rashi’s Rainbow Loop are all great choices for this Wizard build, so you’d be better off forming some Duriel drops.
Ball Lightning Sorcerer AoZ Build: Skill Bar
- Ice blades: Summon a pair of Ice Blades for 6.0s that quickly deal 22% damage to enemies and have a 40% chance to make them vulnerable for 2s.
- Ice armor: A barrier of ice forms around you for 6 seconds, absorbing 30% of your base health (497) as damage. While Ice Armor is active, 5% of the damage taken is added to its Barrier.
- Flame Shield: Consume yourself in fire for 2 seconds, burning nearby enemies for 40% damage per second. While the flame shield is active, you are invulnerable.
- Teleportation: Evolve into lightning, become Unstoppable, and dash to the target location, dealing 25% damage around you upon arrival.
- Ball lightning: Fire a ball of lightning that slowly moves forward, continuously dealing 60% damage to enemies.
- Unsteady currents: Lightning surges inside you for 10 seconds. Whenever you apply a shock skill, a random core, spell, or mastery skill is also applied.
- Chain zipper: Fire a stream of lightning that deals 36% damage and chains between nearby enemies and you up to 5 times, favoring enemies.
- Frozen ball: Fire an orb that cools by 34% and expels piercing shards for a total of 36% damage. Once expired, Frozen Orb explodes, dealing 34% damage and cooling enemies by 8.7%.
