Blasphemy 2 is filled with interesting side quests, but one of the most notable is the saga of Tryphon and Castula, two ominous siblings who happen to be found dining in the heart of the monster-infested Palace of Embroidery. Both will reward you with a useful memento in exchange for an artifact related to their sibling, either an Elder Scroll or an Old Woman’s Garment, and in this guide we’ll show you where you can find both in Blasphemy 2.
How to find the Elder’s Scroll and the Old Woman’s Clothes in Blasphemy 2

You’ll meet Tryphon and Castula in the painted room in the Palace of Embroidery, but you can only talk to one of them at a time. Whenever you enter their room, one of them will collapse on the table, seemingly dead, while the other is available to talk to. Both will complain about their sibling’s lack of manners before asking you to find an item: the Old Woman’s Garment for Tryphon and the Elder’s Scroll for Castula. It should be noted that you only need to find one of these items to complete their side questbut we will still consider the location of both.

You’ll find the Elder Scroll in the Tower Crown area, not far from the beginning of the area. From the first Prie Dieu, head right until you reach platforms that look like stairs. Once you get to the top, you’ll find a statue that you can interact with. Interact with it and the platforms will rise, giving you a short window to jump across them to the left and jump up to grab the wall with the Ascension Ivy. From here, watch for the spinning fireball as you climb up to the platform above, where you’ll find the Elder Scroll.

The old woman’s clothes can be found in the painted room in the Holy Sepulcher. After entering the lower left room, press Veredicto on the bell, then make your way to the right of the screen using the platforms that will appear. Hit the second bell on the right, then jump left to the second set of platforms. You’ll find the old woman’s cloth on the platform at the end of this sequence.

Once you find one of these two items, return to the room with Tryphon and Castula in the Palace of Embroidery. If the item you find doesn’t match the brother who is currently alive, just exit and try again until it does. When they line up, talk to the brother and give them the requested item and you’ll hear the end of their dark story. You will then be rewarded with one of two key items: the Memory of Tryphon if you delivered the Elder Scroll, or the Memory of the Castula if you delivered the Garment of the Elder. While you can only get one of these memories through this quest, the ones you didn’t get will be available for purchase in Forlorn Pario for 6000 Tears of Atonement after completing the questso don’t worry about missing out.

These memories can be exchanged in Montañez or Venerada for Tryphon or Castula statues respectively. The former increases your damage when your health is low, and the latter increases your damage when your guilt level is low. There’s also a sneaky hidden achievement called “Two Old Men Eating Soup” that you can unlock by placing Tryphon and Castula statues in the same pair of slots, opposite each other..
So here it is: a complete guide on where to find the Elder Scroll and the Old Woman’s Garment in the Blasphemy 2, and what to do with them when you do. Both of the statues you get in this side quest are useful in combat, and Tryphon even plays a role in one of the powerful resonances available in the game, so it’s worth picking up during your walkthrough.
