The popular code editor Visual Studio Code just got its monthly update. The May update (formally Visual Studio Code 1.90) added the following new features:
- Multiple editor tab selection – Select and perform actions on multiple tabs at once.
- Profiles – open new windows with the selected profile.
- Editor actions – immediate access to editor actions in editor groups.
- Copilot Extensibility – Build AI into your extensions with the Chat and Language Model APIs.
- VS Code Speech – Automatically read Copilot Chat responses with text-to-speech.
- Find in notebooks – limit the search to selected cells in notebooks.
- Chat Context – Quickly add different types of context to your chat.
- IntelliSense in Chat Replies – Better understand generated code with IntelliSense.
