Destiny 2The season of wishing is upon us. In addition to the new patch, battle pass, and story content about finding dragon eggs to fulfill a wish, the update features also brought Witcher 3 armor and easter eggs in Bungie’s loot shooter, including an emote for Geralt’s famous bath scene.
“Wet armor is a small price to pay for true relaxation,” reads the flavor text for Barrel Bath. The new emote will allow Guardians to put their feet up and relax in the translucent blue light after a long day of focusing on engrams. However, it is not cheap. Barrel Bath costs 1200 silver, an annoying amount that’s only 100 more than what you get for spending $10 on Destiny 2premium currency. This means that you technically need to spend $15 to get the emote and you’ll be left with 400 silver.
For those who are not familiar Witcher 3 or Geralt of Rivia’s hygiene routine after killing monsters, CD Projekt Red’s favorite open-world fantasy role-playing game begins with a flashback to the titular Witcher drinking it in his Caer Morhen bedchambers. The first thing the players hear is the splash of water, and the first thing they see are the soles of his feet hanging over the edge. Ennifer, the sorceress, flirts with him, summoning a lobster that takes off with him, forcing Geralt to get out naked and towel himself off. The witcher instantly scatters in the bath became a memeCDPR made him a statueand the Netflix adaptation even paid tribute to have Henry Cavill recreate that moment.

Witcher 3 crossover with Fate also includes armor sets for the Titan, Warlock, and Hunter classes, each looking like a separate school of Witcher monster hunters, complete with silver swords, chain mail, and leather straps. Finishers show the Guardians using the magic of Geralt’s Mark, and the new Sparrow mount looks like an actual Witcher saddlebag transformed into a futuristic speeder.
“Witchers are known for their skill in hunting and killing monsters,” Przemysław Juszczyk, Head of Franchise Art, CDPR, told the PlayStation blog. “Every armor should scream that it is ready to deal with this type of encounter. We also included the iconic Witcher elements: if you look closely, you can see a medallion of a wolf, two swords, inscriptions in Glagolitic script. All this got Fate spin from Bungie’s talented artists. Even if everything happens in cosmic reality, I believe in spirit The sorcerer is present in every subject of our cooperation.”
I think they nailed it.
