The endless debate will always rage on in video games. PC vs console, Xbox vs PlayStation, resolution or fps. No one will ever have a definitive answer because it all comes down to personal preference. I’m an avid PC gamer, but I still really miss being able to sit back on the couch and play games on the TV. However, I prefer the mouse and keyboard controller layout, and the performance I get from the PC far exceeds anything I’ve ever gotten from a console. But now that Armored Core 6 came out, I faced a dilemma. Armored Core 6 is made by a company that usually specializes in console releases, so is it suitable for controller play, or can I get by with my mouse and keyboard?
Controller or mouse and keyboard?

Now I’m a big fan of mouse and keyboard, but for some games I go for the controller option. I find that third-person games, especially those with a lot of controls, are best played with a controller. It pains me to say it now, as someone who has graduated Armored Core 6 on mouse and keyboard, which is actually easier with a controller.
Triggers and buffers for two hands and shoulders can be used in the game. The quick side-to-side dash and perfect accuracy needed for dodging in a no-I-frame game is much better with two joysticks. There was something a little clunky about using all my keys to activate everything on my gear.
FromSoftware originally always made their games for the PlayStation and it shows in their games. Elden Ring was similar in difficulty to a mouse and keyboard game. If you are going to start your adventure in Armored Core 6, I would just choose the controller from the start. This will prevent you from getting used to the mouse and keyboard.
