Excalibur
For those of you who like text adventure games like Spooky Adventure or Knight Orc. Then we just found out via the plus4 website that Ready64 has announced Bronx, Excalibur and La Casa for the C64 and Plus/4. As the website for La Casa says, “Converted by Carmine Migliaccia (TSM) from the original ZX Spectrum created (privately) and released in Load’n’Run 47 (March 1988). Magazine excerpt courtesy of Ready64.” To coincide with this news, Saberman will be making a video later today showing one of the games.

And here’s the latest from Plus/4 World. “La Casa is the third in a series of ZX Spectrum-converted text adventures created by Gian Battista Aicardi. It was first published in Load’n Run magazine issue 47, which came out in March. It’s 1988, and for us adventurers, it’s post-Bronx and Excalibur. So you already know about it: hires, slightly animated graphics, 80-column character set and available in both Italian and English : “House”) recalls the Italian title of the (in?)famous Evil Dead movie series , signed by Sam Raimi.”
