You were pretty good at rolling, knocking off creeps and stopping shooters Ready or not intense tactical shooter gameplay. But in the next mission, you are tasked with dealing with a vast network of coyotes. Here’s how to complete the Rust Belt mission in Ready or Not!
How to quickly complete the mission “Rust Belt” in Ready or Not
The Rust Belt has simple mission objectives in Ready or Not, but completing it will drag you into an underground maze. The goals are as follows:
- Bring order to chaos (Report and arrest all suspects)
- Save all civilians (Detain civilians)
The civilians are usually on the ground level where you start, in any of the three buildings you find. There are usually ~2-3 civilians there and they will surrender easily. But there are few suspects scattered around the map, many of whom wield guns in narrow passages.
On the subject: The Ready or Not Voice Attack mod allows you to issue voice commands to AI operators
This means that after you’ve trapped everyone on the first floor, you can go into the central house to enter the tunnel inside. This also means you have no weapons and can fight enemies as you see fit. I recommend Stinger grenades or flashbangs to disarm or break the morale of suspects, and consider night vision goggles. Peeking inside the door also gives you enough room to throw a grenade!

I recommend following a straight path and using a chemical light every time you enter a new room. Check each room and create a structure where 2 operators break into the room while the others search or take cover. Enemies like to sneak up on you and can even slip between holes in the wall, much to my surprise and amazement, but not like Greased Palms. Your final destination should be a large cave with a boat.
What are the Soft Objectives on the Costa Vino Border Reserve map?
There is two soft targets in the Rust Belt mission:
- Notify about confiscated passports
- Report Los Locos barge
The Passports are found on the kitchen table in the main house where you start in the Rust Belt in Ready or Not. The Barge Los Locos this is the boat at the end of the cave.
How to get S-Rank in Rust Belt
The main task in this case will be to keep yourself and your allies alive, so try to do the following:
- Take pepperball guns and no bag shotguns, at least for your AI teammates; they tend to exaggerate and kill suspects.
- Consider removing all sidearm ammo to keep your team from being lethal.
- Bring a balance of Flashbang and Stinger grenades.
- In the starting zone, go to the leftwhich gives more cover when you subdue your first targets.
- Take a mirror with you; enemies like to approach doors, and those doors are often unlocked, so Kick the door with enemies nearby to stun them!
- Complete all the simple tasks and your team will join you to automatically reveal any guns you missed yourself as evidence.
The mission itself is simple, but success requires alertness, steady nerves, and constant attention to the many doors you’ll pass. Instead of climbing the buildings in Twisted Nerve or the 23 Megabytes mission, this time you must descend into the dangerous tunnels below.
