Time for the final stretch. Here’s how to clear the crystal that leads to Area Zero Underdepths in Pokémon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk.
Pokémon Scarlet and Violet: How to clear the crystal that leads to Area Zero Depths in The Indigo Disk
Before you venture out to find Area Zero Underdepths in The Indigo Disk DLC for Pokémon Scarlet and Violet, you should know that you’ll have to go through a decent chunk of the main story to access this area. The only thing I can tell you that will display the image perfectly is that you need an actual Indigo disc to access it. And since this item gives the name DLC, you know it’s going to take some time. Either way, once you’ve collected it, you’ll need to travel to Research Station 4 to unlock Zero Lab.

The Indigo Disc will fit on the Zero Lab panel and you will gain access to the Area Zero Underdepths. Here, you’ll eventually find a huge therocrystallized crystal blocking the path. This is the first of many, but getting rid of it will open the way to getting rid of the others. You will need to defeat Stellar Glimmora, which is a terrastalized Glimmorra. His star type won’t affect his weaknesses, but will make all his attacks super effective.
Terrastalized Glimmora Fight

Pokemon | Type | Abilities | Weaknesses |
---|---|---|---|
Blinking | Rock/poison Stellar (Terastalized) |
Toxic waste: When hit with a physical move, Glimmora scatters toxic spikes in the opponent’s field. Will be activated a maximum of two times. Corrosion: Poison Steel and Poison Pokemon. |
4x ground 2x water 2x psychic 2x steel |
As you can see, there are some Pokemon that will deal significant damage to Glimmora. For example, Ground/Water Pokemon like Swampert or Ground/Steel Pokemon like Excadril take advantage of Glimmora’s weaknesses. I would avoid steel type pokemon because corrosion can poison them, and psychic types are more like a second choice because they don’t use all of Glimmora’s weaknesses. All you need to do is prioritize your DPS because this will get Glimmora Terrastalized so it won’t hit you with super effective attacks. Keep hitting him with everything you’ve got and you’ll be good to go.
Relatives: All Blueberry Academy Fast Travel locations in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Indigo Disk DLC
You’ll find more crystals blocking the way as you continue to explore the depths of the Area Zero Underdepths. You will get rid of them by defeating the Stellar Pokémon. Just remember to prioritize your DPS and exploit your Pokemon’s weaknesses just like you did with Glimmora. You’ll be able to move forward consistently if you do!
