Catalis Group CEO Dominic Wheatley (in the photo), leaves his role.
In a statement on its website, the company announced that he will take up the position of non-executive director. No one will replace Wheatley in the top job; The two divisions of Catalis – Curve Games and Testronics – will be led by their respective CEOs, John Clarke and Mike Batey.
“Historically, Catalis has been two different businesses, and that’s what I inherited,” Wheatley said.
“Now that Curve is building its own group of studios like Runner Duck and Iron Oak, and Testronic is now complemented by Whyttest, Secret 6 and Giant in the film and TV division, it’s time to let everyone move to the next stage. The Catalis Board will help guide both companies and I look forward to playing my role.”
Catalis Chairman Peter Opperman added: “Dominic’s development of the management teams allows him to move into his new role and we are delighted that he will continue to contribute to the success of the Group.”
